Because who's kidding who? Was "Plastic Ono Band" not a Lennon solo album? Of course it was. Wings was never a real band any more than say, The Elton John Band.

Yes, Paul played drums during their rooftop concert (rolls eyes). He also played drums during all the sessions captured in the film, as can be plainly seen.

Their ONE east coast date is Asheville, NC?!? WTF?

I think the reason is simply that it's a guitar-based rocker with a great riff, and Paul plays it on guitar. He doesn't really have that many like it.

Exactly - it's a suite, way more than two songs.

But…in the film, Ben Vereen sings, "Bye, bye life…."

I felt the same way when reading "likely reflecting Lenny…" Likely?!? How about, "obviously," as in, no way you could possibly miss it unless you don't know of the film, or that Fosse directed it.

This full-season review ONLY mentioned the writing. I hope they won't all be like this.
If I hadn't watched the show, from reading this review I wouldn't have any idea how to answer these questions: was the cast any good, was the directing any good, was it funny at all, were there any episodes that stood out?

Does Totally Biased have "enough comedic fodder for four shows a week?"
They'd better, given that it's on five nights a week.

"Some of the recordings from those shows were made into a double LP, Rock Of Ages, released in 1972, but the vast majority of the songs recorded from the soundboard have been unreleased until now."
BUT, this isn't one of them! "Life is a Carnival" was on Rock of Ages, so this is not, as the headline states, a

Umm, they all had name plates in front of them, shown in multiple shots. There was no need to "recognize" anyone, their names were clearly sitting in front of each of them.

It was the Wrecking Crew playing the sessions, Carol Kaye on bass and Hal Blaine on drums for sure. My guess is it was Larry Knechtel on organ, and he probably came up with the part himself.

Eric Clapton only snorted heroin.

But that's not what he means by auteur; he means written (not co-written) AND directed by.

Bach. It will instill in them a strong sense of melody, and is a perfect foundation upon which to build increasingly modern music.

He didn't at all announce "his retirement from music forever." He simply said, "Not only is this the last show of the tour, but it's the last show we will ever do." We, meaning the Spiders From Mars. Which was true. He retired the Ziggy character, and got a new band (except for Mick Ronson, because that would have

Why would Rabin say "Presumably final season"? It IS the final season - what's to presume?

Sure they have. Every season they film some location stuff in the city.

My very first thought was: it should be Yards! They already make a damn good IPA.
