I know what you mean, but it's a bit over-stated. Glen Gary GlenRoss came out on 1992, and he was pretty damn good in that. I also just recently saw Angels In America - ditto. I think with the right film he reverts back to being a good actor versus a "performer."

Exactly. I hate the Comedy Central video player - the same commercials, not only all week, but all show, and as you said, often back-to-back…to back!

It's really annoying that these AVClub trailers can't be viewed fullscreen. WTF year is this again? And this applies to embedded vids in other articles, too, like Scenic Routes, etc. I'm sure they have some bs reason to give, but it's still bs.

It was a dumb move, scripted or not. So instead of Dexter's idea of having the bad guy's (I can't be bothered to look up the name) gun be used to shoot LaGuerta, you know, for forensics sake, Deb uses her police gun, which screw up the whole cover. THEN, she hugs the bloody body, right in the spot where the wound is,

Sorry, I stopped reading when I got to your superfluous "u" in the word "favorite."

In all seriousness, usually whoever is paying you (festival, theater, club) pays for the room and puts you up at whatever hotel they have a deal with. (and, sometimes a nicer place might be farther away, so there's a trade-off: stay at a lesser place that's next door, or have to drive 20-30 minutes before and after

And "Maybe I'm Amazed," too. The man can belt.

Hello?  "Jagged Edge," anyone?

I think it's more accurate to say Mick Jagger invented the concept of "the front man." Elvis had already invented the rock star concept (duh), followed by Chuck Berry, etc. Also, for Norman to say that Jagger is "inimitable," is laughable. He was unique, or original, but as we've seen many times, he's very, very

I'm sooo glad you linked to this. I remember seeing this when it aired, and I had no idea who Morton Downey Jr was, I just thought it was some insane character that Chris Elliot came up with. Then later when I saw the real thing, I couldn't believe it was a real show, and that Elliot had nailed him so perfectly. And
