Sort of like they stretched out the whole "Deb Finding Out" thing.  That's how Season 5 SHOULD have ended, and I guess the writers figured that out later, by setting up the same scene at the end of Season 6.  Unfortunately, that came an entire Season 6 too late.

I have seen Harrison say "Daddy" once or twice in prior seasons, and he said "Pizza" once this season when Dexter was carting him off for his first 3-hour trek with Jamie, and Dexter said "I love you more than…."
