That scene WAS some pretty exciting television!  She was, like, standing there, looking at the boat.  It was, like, "yup, that's Dexter's boat.  And I'm here."  It was almost like Lila showing up with the TomTom in her hand announcing "You have arrived at the plot twist" in Season 2.  Only without the TomTom.
