My Name is Bruce
I just watched My Name is Bruce and it's some goofy and dumb fun. Not much to offer for anyone who doesn't know who Bruce Campbell is. Lotta groaners too, but it's a lot better than Campbell's directorial debut, The Man with the Screaming Brain.

Well, there have been ads for How's Your News flashing all week and TV Club didn't even cover the first episode.

The Pains of Having a Really Long Band Name
Have we not learned anything from …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead? Whatever happened to those guys anyway?

I Thought She Went Into Retirement?
Or was that just a lovely dream I had?

What About Pies?
Everybody enjoys a good ol' fashioned pie fight. Just don't forget the seltzer water.

I'm on the east coast and still love NOFX. [cowers while waiting for somebody to call me a date rapist]

Wow.

How is Chasing Amy a male fantasy? If it was [SPOILER ALERT], wouldn't the guy get the girl in the end? Hell, wouldn't he have gotten the girl AND her girlfriend in the end?

Did Anybody How's Your News?
I was hoping TV Club would do a write-up on the MTV debut of How's Your News.

Not to take anything away from Annie Hall, which I love, but Sweet and Lowdown is a great love story too.

True Romance
I even saw this one in the theater on a date. It even has the word "Romance" in the title.

Chasing Amy
I know it's hip to trash Kevin Smith on this site, but Chasing Amy deserves to be on this list. It has lesbians, people!

FYI, that band was Steel Pole Bathtub.

DeadGuy
Fixation on a Co-Worker era. I saw the Screamin with the DeadGuy Quartet era line-up live (which is minus their singer and lead guitarist) and it was one of the worst shows I've ever witnessed.

I heard there's video somewhere of the singer of Botch fucking a pizza. Not sure how exactly that works.

Operation Ivy
Much like Jawbreaker (which I'd also love to see), this one could happen some day. But probably not.

Faith No More
Even though I had the good fortune to see Faith No More live five times, I'd still love to see them again circa 1992. I saw them play the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA in October of '92 and it was one of the best shows I ever saw.

That's why I posted in the form of a question. I haven't read that many comic book series in their entirety.

Neil Gaiman's The Sandman
Best graphic novel/comic book series ever?

You went to Catholic school too, eh?
