Or,
Use Your Disillusion
I have the poster for Happy Birthday To Me hanging in my living room.
The Burning's not bad, I watched it recently and it was better than I had remembered. It was Miramax's first movie. And it has pre-fame Jason Alexander (with hair!), Fisher Stevens, and Holly Hunter (though, if you blink you'll miss her). And the scene on the raft may be the best ridiculous scene from a slasher…
Would anyone bother to reply to Phel if they did not know she was a gal? I doubt it.
The cover art for April Fool's Day was a lot better than the actual movie was. That movie (produced by Frank Mancuso Jr, who produced most of the Friday the 13th sequels)(and featured the survivor from Friday the 13th Part 2) had a twist that pretty much invalidated the entire movie. Not worth watching, even though…
The Featurette
You didn't mention that half the featurette is devoted to selling the remake.
THIS Gets a Longer Article than the Original My Bloody Valentine?!?!
Oh, come the fuck on, AV Club. I like shitty horror movies, and this one still sucks. It's like the worst episode of Scooby Doo with sub-par special effects. Even Amy Smart (who saved The Butterfly Effect from being a total waste of time) can't…
Six the Hard Way
There is one reason, and one reason only, to ever watch Blossom: Jenna von Oy.
Gutterballs is some serious shit and I would not suggest it to the un-initiated. It's a mean-spirited slasher movie with a very dark sense of humor. It also has a pretty startling and drawn out (though not graphic) rape scene in the first twenty minutes.
Weezer Albums Best to Worst
1. Pinkerton
2. The Blue Album
3. Maladroit (since Jesus Christ seems to have misinterpreted my initial comment, my comparison to Pinkerton meant I feel this album is under-appreciated)
4. The Green Album
5. The Red Album
6. Make Believe (I like to make believe this album never happened)
Maladroit is the New Pinkerton
That album seems to get no respect, but it rocks my socks off.
Travis's Cover of "Hit Me Baby One More Time"
It's pretty awesome. And it kinda sounds like Weezer.
May
Starts out with an awkward girl coming to terms with herself, getting some new contacts to fix her lazy eye, and she even gets a date with the boy of her dreams. But she freaks out the boy, her prized doll starts whispering to her, and then the movie sharply turns into something altogether different…
Irreversible
The ultimate backwards gearshift movie?
Agreed, but The Howling is much better. The less said about the sequels the better.
Led Zeppelin
I'd rather listen to Dread Zeppelin.
Jane's Addiction = Over Ray ted
Also, to quote one of my old roommates, Dave Navarro ruins everything.
You…The One Who Cool Should Be
I love me some 30 Rock, but it always feels like at least one of the plotlines get shorted each episode. This week it was the Jenna/Frank affair. It felt like it really lacked an ending.
