I think Creed was the one of the first people to chime in.

I just turned 33 and realized if I live at least another year I'll have outlived Chris Farley, John Belushi, and Jesus Christ.
I'm all in on Lindsay Lohan.
Well? What did you ask?

Bombast Ick
Before reading this review I somehow predicted that some form of the word "bombast" would appear.
I'll second the love for Murder Party, that's a fantastic, funny, dark and quite low budgeted recent flick.
One more remake, Tobe Hooper's Toolbox Murders. Far better than the original.
How do you make a dead baby float?
Two scoops of ice cream, some root beer, and a dead baby.
The Juliana Hatfield Three, "President Garfield"
Weird fucking song, at least lyrically. I'm not suggesting it be included in this list, just pointing out that it's a weird song supposedly about a president. Not so sure it is. Sample lyric:
Anybody Seen Grace?
There are reports of people actually passing out (which, honestly, is enough to get my attention) at Sundance screenings of some movie called Grace. The flick itself sounds…dubious. Here's a summary from imdb:
71. Murphy's Law, "California Pipeline"
Sample lyrics:
I actually liked the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. I thought it was appropriately bleak, grisly and jarring (see Roger Ebert's offended review), much like the orginal was in its time. Also, it takes scenes from the original and turns them on their head, fun for fans of the original.
Much better. And I actually saw Freddy's Dead in the theater back in the day (the last 15 minutes were in 3-D). That shit was whack.
Oh, and one more! Sleepaway Camp (1983), that's probably the best of the "golden age" of slasher movies (1980-83), it's all kinds of awesome (in good and bad ways) and has the best surprise ending of all those movies.
