He hasn't been able to get his new project ("A Topiary") off the ground because it's insanely ambitious and strange and would costs tens of millions of dollars. He's shooting a low-key movie now, "Upstream Color", and apparently "A Topiary" is still being made, possibly released by 2013.

Someone explain to me why Gus would go kill Tio. Gus must assume Tio went to the DEA and spilled the beans about him. In that case, Gus killing him is pretty much a confirmation that what Tio "said" to the DEA is correct. Not to mention Gus went there *himself*. Was it just a revenge kill before he split the country…
