Seriously though, that was not a happy ending, unless you would describe the ending of shutter island as "happy". The fact they were all so casual about what was essentially a lobotomy was the most disturbing aspect of this episode.

Maybe a bit more like "Wishful thinking"? Although nothing the show will ever do will beat out that episode's depressed live teddy bear.
