I agree with you. I liked this episode although I wasn't completely sure why when it ended because I had yet to fully grasp all the different threads that it set up. The only thing that felt unnecessary to me was Adam coming back as a literal phantom.

I was really reminded of Daniel Day Lewis's Guido in that scene with Don. And I got a completely different read of that moment. It looked to me like Don fell in love with Megan all over again and we were supposed to see that she had a spark and did have the potential to be a good actress, even without the sound. Maybe

you have a point… the way she came off as a broken little doll at the end and really at the beginning as well and then on top of all of that her shock therapy plot made me think hers was the darkest most tragic thread of the whole season. Truly at the end when she was in that hospital bed in her frilly pink gown and

yes you don't understand I was praying for that to happen because he was probably the most interesting entertaining character aside from russell that season and I was hoping tara would finally have an interesting even compelling storyline by being hitched to him for the rest of her life—-

his devolution? did you watch the early seasons of the show? cory was always an elderly jewish comedian with a giant resemblance to albert brooks, which was one of my favorite parts of the show.

I was super surprised to see him in American History X. I actually felt the last remnant's of my youth leave me.

Initially I thought my love for this show was based purely on childish nostalgia. But I had a rough first year at college where I ended up sick in my tiny little dorm room rewatching all the seasons of this show online. I was sincerely surprised that it held up over time. The show even made my freshman year less
