I know I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to say that, yes, the symptoms Sarah exhibits in this episode could point to a psychotic disorder, though not necessarily schizophrenia, which is a form of mental disorder that impairs almost all aspects of the human psyche, including perception, drive, cognition

I came here to ask but one question: What's up with Arial? That font is hurting my eyes!

As someone living in Germany, I've kind of gotten used to Ronald Zehrfeld's face and can't find any actor to compare it to, really. Ever since he popped up around five years ago, he's been practically unavoidable.

Well, it's not New York State, but the Federal Government that's closing the prison. I would also assume the storyline was inspired by the fact that the prison the real Piper was in, FCI Danbury, is being transitioned into a men's prison.

About a week ago, I read the review over at Variety that was less than enthusiastic about season 2, to put it mildly. Looking at Metacritic, Variety's score is 50 and the Washington Post's 60.
I'm actually one of the people who think that season 1 was overrated. So I don't necessarily feel this negative review impacts

Yeah, that's what I just posted, too. Also, I am surprised that it is an RTL series. Most worthwhile attempts at producing a good German TV series have been confined to arte, ZDF and ARD. My case in point would be Im Angesicht des Verbrechens and Weissensee, even though both shows are not without flaws and the former

Being a native German, I was shocked that this series existed without me knowing about it, until my mother told me there had been an article about it in the newspaper just today. Apparently, it won't be broadcast over here until fall…
That being said, I am also sort of shocked that this is supposed to be good, given

Yeah, there's nudity. Of course there's nudity (male and female, so it's fair game). And underage drinking and smoking. Like you said, it's French.
Though Netflix can have nudity too. I wouldn't count on it, though.

Well, I tried… for circa thirty seconds. I loved the original, and since Netflix kept telling me to watch The Returned, I decided to give it a chance (sadly, Netflix in Germany does not have the French original).
But honestly, basically as soon as the TV soundtrack-indie-guitar-y song began to play over the opening

This article has some good points: there really is an element of repetition to AHS, which mostly manifests in Jessica Lange's character(s). After last season's desaster which I couldn't bear to watch until the finale, I have not started season 4 and probably won't. Doesn't seem like I'm missing out, even though the

Yes, I did, they really jumped at me. And I have to say, they are among the few things in this episode that left an impression with me.

Yeah, well, it's that typical Hollywood Homely thing. When are "potentially pretty" women in TV shows or films ever not already pretty? Like anyone is going to be fooled by huge glasses, baggy sweaters or less-than-perfectly coiffed hair… but Hollywood seems to think that still works.

The character is really nondescript so far. But as for the actress, the acting in the scene with Frank was really something where I felt there should have been some actual acting. There was a shot on her that lasted a while as Frank was spouting his misogynistic crap, and you should have seen something in her eyes,

What threw me off during her delivery was her dead-eyed stare. There was some emotion in her voice, but none in her eyes - at least that's how I felt. Her acting - or lack thereof - in that scene really jumped at me, and to be honest, that doesn't happen all that often with me.
Laurel just felt like a weak link in a

My favorite is definitely Connor - I like his somewhat smarmy confidence and charm. He is confident in a brash way, definitely less haughty than Michaela. I also love that he is gay and open an out it. Plus, I think he would work well as a character on The Good Wife, and that's always a good thing in my book.

I've been very fond of Murtagh ever since his little speech about how Jamie needs a woman for a wife in "The Way Out".

It's officially based on the British version, although this is redited with "inspired by". The plot differs greatly (I think only the first episode has the same plot as the UK Office). It's hugely successful over here, with five seasons, a motion picture and a merchandising dictionary "published" by the main character

Over here in Germany, there is a sketch comedy that used to do a segment called Obersalzberg, which was a parody of the German version of The Office (Stromberg). So essentially, you had Hitler playing the boss character from The Office/Stromberg, with other Nazis spoofing the other characters. It was pretty loony.

Best returning show: The Good Wife and Hannibal (tie)
Honorable mentions: Game of Thrones and Orange is the New Black.
Not caught up on Rectify, which I also expect to be excellent. The Americans had a strong season, but this series just… I don't know, kind of leaves me cold.
