For what it's worth, it wasn't a courtroom, it was a city council meeting, and I doubt that in a small town like charming they'd have any bailiff types on duty.  Also, maybe by "good guys" he meant some of the people who were getting muscled off their property back in season 2 with Zoebel when the deal was first going…

Don't forget that Tig is scared of dolls as well.  He was especially freaked out by them "watching" him.  In the episode where they visit Gemma's father, he actually turns all of the dolls on a couple shelves around.

You're forgetting that all of that was before they were both kidnapped because of Jax.  Clearly being kidnapped together is a real bonding experience!
