First time I saw Against Me! was in '03 when they opened for NOFX in San Diego. I made the drive out there mainly because it was an excuse to get out of AZ for a couple days and hang out with some friends. It was Against Me!'s first show west of the Mississippi (according to them) and the first time I ever heard of

Take My Wife

I'd take pleasure in guttin' you boy.
I'd take pleasure in guttin' you… BOY!

I was unaware that such an architectural monstrosity existed. I guess it makes sense it would be from Jersey, and it directs even more of my ire at said state.

Speaking of Jersey
I have a package that the the UPS tracker says has been sitting in Secaucus since last Thursday. That state is really starting to chap my hide.

I cannot explain my obsession with Christie's Poirot novels, but I am currently working my way through them all.

Way Out in Seattle
Young Kurt Cobain sunk out to the greenhouse and put a bullet in his brain.

Posting on page 5 means no one will ever read this, but they should.

I thought it was a bowling ball. Just a little Coen's foreshadowing.

No way man, Sublime is awesome. You know what else is awesome? Smoking pot. I love that they were a band who sang about smoking pot in over 90% of their songs. I totally listen to them while smoking pot. I even listen to them when I'm not smoking just because they sing about smoking pot and smoking pot is so

Mustard Plug!

When Ted Kennedy passed away all I could think of was after Elinore pulls out a gun and throws everyone out of her party then turns to Ted Kennedy and there is the following exchange:

My Name is Earl
Never really watched it, but with The Office, Parks and Rec, Community, and 30 Rock it seems to have lost its spot on Thursdays. Is it done for good or just placed in NBC time slot rotation hell like so many others have been in the past? Well… NewsRadio at least.
