You're right about Kramer but I will say about 'Judgement', that the performances by Garland and Clift are heartbreaking. Last gasps for both of them. Dietrich's okay, Widmark's his usual self and poor Spence looks worn out. But as a bonus you get a very young Bill Shatner.

Actually Paul Muni was in the original. Cagney's big gangster flick was The Public Enemy which is just as good. Muni was such a big deal in the 30s but hardly anyone remembers him now.
