But a little conceited.
But a little conceited.
Very cruel. Actually Duvall turned the role down several times b/c at school kids would tease her by calling her Olive Oyl.
I've just been advised to check out an article about a remake of Flatliners.
It's like they were reading my mind!
I'm all sticky.
Sounds reasonable.
Même nous ne sommes pas celui stupide.
Okay, I give up. I've been trying to correct my misspelling of Spielberg's name for an ungodly amount of time but for some demented reason Disqus won't let me edit. Some nonsense about my comment needing approval which makes no sense b/c I've already made the darn comment. Right now I can't decide which I find more…
Nice to know that Malick fans are as humourless and pompous as their hero.
And @avclub-9ad2f925a32643f541b183503f33a8c6:disqus for the record I've never had any problem watching and enjoying the films of Bunuel, Bergman, Antonioni, Resnais, Fellini or Kurosawa. Compared to some of their work Malick is almost as…
Malick's best film was his first, Badlands. It's been all downhill since then with each movie worse than the last. The most over-rated director in the biz IMHO.
I think @avclub-955d864a62659945cc9434898e275deb:disqus has made a valid point and I agree with him.
I don't think anybody ever thought JG was 'adorkable'.
Much to her credit.
Juliet Prowse really got around.
She slept with Sinatra and Elvis!
Not at the same time, though.
Hard not to love a guy who had the good sense to whack Norman Mailer on the head with a hammer.
Here's an elegant demolition of this silly idea from a man who should know.
"Too long; didn't read"
He was dissing you, man. I think he wants a fight.
Hopefully not like the one in They Live, tho.
That really was too long.
That's pretty funny. I don't think Cronenberg's name and the word 'charm' have ever appeared in the same paragraph before.
Yeah, now if they could only get the bugs worked out…
Yikes! I'm speechless, so I'll just cut and paste the rest of that 1st paragraph:
Everyone shush. If we all ignore him maybe he'll go away.
Extra bonus points for a Pasolini reference.
