WHERE IS THE HOMELAND REVIEW?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Seriously people, I can't go to bed until I read strangers' opinions regarding a TV show.

Has that Axel guy ever had his arms UNcrossed on camera?

Which is weird, because I've found the music on this show to, generally, be generic and cheesy. That end tune was kind of awesome.

Rape is usually a go-to scene for lazy writers who want to seem disturbing/edgy/dark. And really, it usually is just contrived, fucked up , disgusting, and lazy writing. The equivalent of someone giving a character a cigarette because they're a bit rebellious (albeit lower on the fucked-up scale).

I'm rewriting something I posted a bit higher about this:
Andrea hinting that she was familiar with the transition (which of course, we as an
audience know), but not actually saying it…that was a huge step up in terms of writing. I
was shocked we didn't get a clunky, "I had to shoot my sister. It
sucked," spiel from

@avclub-858b67085072a6f2403cf500871f4068:disqus How the hell can the show create such an incredible moment like that, but be so god damn inconsistent otherwise?

Yeah, I would have opened with, "Saw two people get taken by a guy with a knife hand while trying to get this baby formula. So I brought it to the prison, where they mentioned they were staying. You're welcome."

Yeah, gotta disagree with Handlen about the dialogue this episode. Still not great. And Andrea's pick-up line with the jolly guv'nah?
