I feel so fucking bad for Brody. His life is completely shit.

When Daryl put the flower on the grave, I was racking my brain trying to think about who the hell the grave was for. I just assumed we didn't see much of Carol this episode. I never assumed she might be dead…or that she was still missing.

I got halfway through the episode and went "Man, haven't heard much from Carol so far. She must have been in a few background shots or something."

That was one of my favorite parts about the movie. They went completely backwards on the typical Bond movie growth. No Chekhov's Q Gadget, no bad guy lair, no fancy electronics and shit, no exotic set - just an empty-ass moor in Scotland, some old guns and a whole lotta badass.

Theory: The writers know the characters on this show suck. But instead of trying to fix them and have the ghosts of shitty characters past constantly hanging over them (not to mention some messy backstory shit to constantly keep straight and explain) they're just going to kill off all the main characters who couldn't…

Wait, did they show that it was a nuke of some sort? And if they did in the previews, don't mention it.

Yeah, maybe the bad guys' plan was to dress like SWAT agents so they didn't draw negative attention? Maybe they had a fake SWAT van done up outside that they pulled up in?

Yeah I get why it reminds me of "24-but-smart" sometimes, it's just interesting to see it come through.

Dunno, but I love when I know what type of gun is being used in a movie or TV show only because I've used it in a video game.

Yeah, it's not that difficult to squeeze in a few lines that give us a sense of her character traits besides grumpy. Grumpy is a mood, not a trait (unless you're a grandpa, then it's fine). Just like…a line. One. You could literally go through this episode and erase her out of every scene and it might make the episode…
