That Bond theme is awesome. The trumpets in there are excellent.

Can't tell if you're joking @avclub-e129a878f7b0e5aa9ac09e0282f64ea6:disqus, but if you're not, the writers of Justified would like to have a word. Also, it's a graphic novel, not a traditional book. So I would disagree on that front anyway. The style of books vs graphic novels is so different. It's like writing for

Yep, Still don't get the argument that the comics are way better than the TV show. Both iterations have the exact same writing and character issues, People doing dumb things being the main source of tension, and characters being completely inconsistent from one scene to the next.

I'm pretty sure a few months ago she said that her new album was a "summer record." So I guess that changed. Unless summer in Britain and/or Sri Lanka is in December and she meant summer across the pond.

The man who wrote the screenplay to 'Jumper,' the story to 'Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance,' and wrote/directed 'The Unborn.'

But killing him in the comic held no weight. All we were told was Shane seemed bad according to Dale, and couldn't be trusted. He wasn't acting normal anymore - but we had no idea what normal was for Shane. So those claims were completely empty.

I just wrote a post about this a few conversations up. I don't get how someone can love the comic but complain about the TV show. They have the exact same issues, down to a T (aside from bad acting, which isn't possible in comics. Although with the comic's Star Wars-level dialogue, I don't think many actors could save

I'm going on a mini-rant: I don't understand all the people who love the comics but say the TV show bastardized it. The weaknesses in the comic (paper thing characters, crappy dialogue, people doing dumb things as a main source of tension, inconsistent characters, etc. etc.) are the exact same issues as in the comic

The new guy they brought in (Henry Brommel?) did a very good job of putting that show on the right track, while still dealing with the garbage that remained. The old lady had nothing to do all season, but you can't just drop her story after a few episodes - she's on contract and I'm assuming the budget wasn't big.

***obligatory RUBICON post***

yeah, what the hell is up with the glitter puke? i've never been able to figure out what she was going for.

I'd put her a hair above Green Day's 'American Idiot' in terms of political lyrics. And 'American Idiot' is the absolute worst.

Yeah, I feel like because I like her music, people assume I support or enjoy all the idiotic non-music things she says/does. And I really just wish she would shut up otherwise.
