The best Deftones song?
Passenger.
Agreed. I thought she was a vet, somewhat hardened but openly vulnerable on the album.
I don't care about the video
Her music kicks ass. End of story.
Something about her voice on the album both comforts me and scares the shit out of me at the same time, like I can't quite trust her. It's intriguing though, and keeps me listening.
Oh!
I was wondering if The AV Club was going to review this album at some point.
Yep
Still funny.
Mad Men 2: The Maddening
I said it last week…
and I'll say it again here:
This has to be the longest post ever on The AV Club, doesn't it?
I liked, didn't love, The Fountain. My problem was that it took a long-ass time to say what was, in fact, a pretty simple message.
The button mashing does get boring and repetitive though, I agree with Mr. Tusks there. I wish they would just string together the giant boss battles, because those are priceless. Everything in between is just slowing me down to get to the next god I have to kill, and it gets annoying quickly.
For the face smash, I thought of The Wire, when Chris takes out Michael's step father in season 4. Fucking brutal.
So the EMP that size isn't going to harm anybody…. Why were Tarin and bearded-terrorist talking like Kayla was going to die? In the car, Beardy was like, "Don't worry Tarin, she is dying for a good cause," or something along those lines.
At the start of the season, I thought Anil Kapoor's fake daughter was kinda cute. Then I realized, hey, she's actually kinda hot. And now, she's definitely super hot.
Haven't read the review yet
I haven't actually watched the episode yet, so I haven't read the review.
Zoolander
Has to be one of the most overrated comedies of my generation. It's quoted constantly and the movie is, at its best, mildly funny.
Isn't this…
the same grade that 'Borderlands' got?
Wow, my html class is getting to my head. Shit. Don't need tags on a message board!
This has nothing…
to do with my life. But it is taint-ticklingly funny every fucking time.
