It's very annoying to see some reviews talk about how it's such a refreshingly original premise, when it's so blatantly ripping off another film.

Don't listen to this guy, tons of English people who watch Breaking Bad. Nobody watches it on tv, 8 months after the fact, but English people are well aware of torrents and the general internet thing.

He seems an odd choice for this though since almost all the other guests in Fawlty Towers are meant to be how real world people would react to Basil and he is a parody of an obnoxious American. It's funny that Americans would see him as the normal one when that definitely wasn't the point.
