Seriously, Mad Men was spectacular tonight!  Pete Campbell is Lucifer, completely devoid of a soul.  Seeing him read Good Night Moon made my skin crawl.

You're just wrong. Tonight's episode was really good, and the show is uncomfortably relatable.  I am in my mid 20s currently living in bushwick/bed-stuy and I've gladly outgrown the stage of life depicted in this show.  It makes me cringe in that 'too soon' way, thinking about the colossal mistakes of my early 20s.

Lena Dunham looked the cutest she's ever looked tonight.  Her ensemble actually fit her body, the bun was chic, and the lipstick worked.  I like that she actually tried.

I agree that the skits add something to the album, in that they "work" if you consider Miseducation a concept album.  But I remember skipping those skits on my 2nd listen.

But the whole "youths" bit was a nod to 30 rock, no?  Liz Lemon bemoaned the scariness of "youths" a few seasons back.

I laughed out loud during the epilogue of Nick at the black barbershop and loved the whole C-storyline.  His haircut was a great sight gag, and if you watch Zoe D. in the following scene, she can't stop smiling (when he's sitting on her bed).  Plus, bonus points for handling race in a stereotypical enough to be

Yea she go married recently and she looked really thin in People.  It was a shock when I saw the article because she looked beautifully fleshy in Californication.  I think she went on a wedding-crash diet.

I totally agree with JoeBloggs.  I really, really want to like this show, mostly because of the two leads.  I actually had a realization the other day that I love Max's character  - a woman's magazine had a spread about how to get Max and Caroline's respective styles and while the feature was meh, I definitely glanced

I think Travis had a gun with him.  If he did, it doesn't make sense that he didn't use it.  Many of his other victims were killed before they were placed in a tableau.

The incest sub-plot is weirdly timed, seeing as how the actors involved are now divorced in real life.  awkward!  but i'm for it, in a rubber necking type of way. I honestly think I'll watch this show until it ends (ugh, I'm ashamed to say I've seen every episode of weeds, too).  I really hope it ends with dexter

Goodbye whore-ible season!

ABC!

Phew!  I thought that was the season finale and the show ended on a lame cliffhanger.  But as previously noted this season, the second half of the two-parters is usually pretty awesome.

her voice is delightful as ever. it's like she's singing a song when she's speaking dialogue.  I think that's where the line about her father having a beautiful singing voice comes in.

that's true about Vince always being rich.  But that doesn't negate the fact that I never once this season thought things wouldn't work out on HTMIIA.  I just kept yelling at their stupidity.
