I've never hated Abby quite like some AVClubbers, but I gotta say, her character arc this season and especially this episode have been delicious!

Milo Ventimiglia, Danny Strong, Lauren Graham & Matt Czuchry haven't exactly been slouches either (even if the latter has been consistently underused)

It'd be so glittery…. & nonsensical sensationalism…

Although Wally or Barry's Mum would be equally thrilling twists

& that's whether it's the test pilot meeting the billionaire and the covert government agency operative or the accountant, the plumber & the oncologist :P

Also Zoom doesn't exactly seem to have patience. I think if Earth 2 Joe was Zoom, Barry (Earth 2) would have died under mysterious circumstances eons ago.

Was that Connor Hawke? I thought it was Diggle in the Arrow-suit

Wander over Yonder & Star vs the Forces of Evil are good shows with their own styles and creator-driven approaches that work in Disney's favour, but whilst they may match Gravity Falls in weirdness neither can really match it's intellect. WoY & SvtFoE are more sit back and enjoy the colourful ride with occasional

Chuck had an amazing first 2 seasons, a mediocre 2 seasons after that and a rather lackluster final season that culminated in a rather disappointing series finale unless you were a major fan of Jeffster and even then everyone else got short-changed.

& it avoids a lot of the tropes that other CBS procedurals frequently run afoul of - e.g. hacking etc, by just bypassing it all-together.

The red shirts'll be pushing daisies! They'll be Dead Like Me! They'll be uh… flying off the Wonderfalls? Crashing at 1313 Mockingbird Lane? They'll be on the High Moon? I feel like whatever this is is coming off the wheels…

You think Dave Foley has horrendous things to say on Dr Ken, try Spun Out (which I only checked out cause of the Battlestar Galactica alumni) or his horrendous run on Hot in Cleveland.

A show about the Order of the Triad would be swell, as long as it didn't slow down the production rate of VB even further - possibly out-source the show-runnering to a long-time secondary story writer or something and implement a separate animation department.

What!?! & they wasted time with "Quiz-boy" - sacrilege!

Not the biggest Quiz-Boy & Pete fan myself. I was willing to put up with the occasional ep focussed on them back when we still got 12 episode seasons, but when we're only getting 8 episodes for a entire season, it feels like a bit of a waste. there's other C-level characters I'd rather spend time with like the Order

Nice Buffy/Angel reference - works on 2 fronts depending on which show you're more of a fan of.

Of the 3 exes, Logan annoys me the least, but i'd prefer it if she either ends up on her own focusing on her career which is how season 7 ended or if they introduced her real-life husband/fiance as a new love interest 'cause i like it when fantasy mirrors reality (or vice versa). I could even handle them considering

Perhaps they're foreshadowing & this is the first in a long line of hints dropping towards a recurring head-butting issue

Who am i? that's one secret i'll never tell. xoxo - Gossip Girl! (read in my head by Kristen Bell)

i think they're slowly trying to move past the premise to tell other stories with these characters - sorta like Cougar Town or to a lesser extent Suits.
