I think Lynch is just too divisive, while so many films on this list are readily in anyone's Top However Many. Fire Walk With Me will always be plagued by the critical backlash at the time of its release and Lost Highway is plagued by way too many people not understanding it — and the not understanding it part gets in

Might as well remake Cliffhangers. I mean that show had Dracula, the wild west, aliens, a regular old detective story, and so on, all jam-packed into one hour. At least when it would inevitable fail, it would only be one hour of failure instead of three or more hours of failures.

This is why we, as a nation, can't have anything nice.

The only modern gay man who cares about Bette Midler is definitely over 50. If the modern gay men on this sitcom, probably aimed at the "edgy geriatric crowd" and stripped of all sexuality to make them Modern-Family-palatable for middle America, isn't debating the merits of Lady Gaga versus Madonna, then the scripts

I think watching this show is more of an implication of the viewer and their thoughts on class values than the family that's being exploited. Guess it depends though on whether or not the viewer prefers to watch spoiled rich girls bitch and moan about their lives and other girls they don't like for some reason or

I don't know what the idea was behind the Burning World style, because it hardly seemed like a direct progression from Children of God. I don't know if it was Bill Laswell's influence or a mutual stylistic decision. Maybe the softer side was pushed to the limit by Jarboe's influence and they ran with it. It was like a

Hopefully the dioramas have some stop-motion animation to really give it that creepy factor.

Children of God was their first transition point from the industrial, less friendly style into a more accessible, sometimes rock/metal/post-rock/ambient/whatever style. Burning World followed and disappointed almost all of their fans with its stripped down, very bare guitar-based style — but it does have one of their

Guess an Automan movie, with all the CGI required to create a hologram, a car that turns 90 degree angles, and a floating polyhedron would just be way too expensive to make.
