Watching the giant cockroaches pouring out of the car as a child scarred me for life. I'm so glad it can now traumatize others.

The awful "the girl I was sleeping who wants to be an artist, made it" cover for Destroyer's Your Blues makes the Challengers cover look like a masterpiece.

No one is clamoring for any of these movies, just as no one is clamoring for movies based on board games. However, with enough advertising and with the right has-beens installed in starring roles, you'll believe that you and everyone you have ever known have never wanted anything more.

So in terms of C and D grade summer movies, how do I determine which one to waste my money on? Or should I just go throw my money into a deep hole in the ground instead? Tough decision!

I'd sooner watch 8-year-old girls get tarted up to look like escorts than any of those endless trophy wife shows. The trophy wives act just like the 8-year-olds, except that the 8-year-olds don't know any better.

Why not an automatic "reboot"?
Studio heads at WB are behind the times! Nowadays we "reboot" a failed superhero movie instead of making a sequel nobody wants.

Flashdance remake
When is that going to take up useful space on multiplex screens then?

@The Quirk, If Nightflight still existed we could be watching Breaking Glass yet again this weekend.

Maybe if WB/DC want to ever make a successful comic book movie at this point (without Christopher Nolan) they should outsource all the work to Marvel.

Yawn
I'm sure somebody else will step in to make a career out of making remakes with a handful of original scripts thrown in here and there.

Wait, so there will always be a few really excellent shows, a whole bunch of middling shows, and a whole bunch of mediocre shows on any given network at one time? And because cable channels don't need to appeal to as many people as possible or bring is as much money as the major broadcast networks, they don't have to

Seems that all of the channels, both broadcast, cable and subscription, are fully invested in formulas derived from their hits, or from hits on other networks.

She already complained about Green Lantern, so now she'll have to wait until Captain America is about to open.

I was excited about a Green Lantern movie—that was, before seeing the trailer for the 500th time. It's a rule of thumb: the amount of times a trailer for a movie is shown on TV is in inverse proportion to the quality of said movie.

Witherspoon
So MTV's Generation Award is like the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oscars, because 30, in tween years, is like 85?

"It's Raining Men" is more gay.

Lazy writing
I kept wanting to give this show the benefit of the doubt, but the writing was so lazy. If it hadn't been so concerned with attempting to grab the LOST audience, if it had tried to do its own thing, it might have done okay. Instead, they gave us two-dimensional characters that weren't worth caring about,

Some of the best Catherine Tate episodes come at the end of her run on Dr. Who. Her character was very annoying in the Xmas special, but she changes quite a bit when she returns.

There are already two "greatest hits" albums for both bands, both titled Substance.

Also, if the contestants aren't able to get to the bathroom in time, will they wet themselves and then start crying?
