"The Legend of Boggy Creek" creeped me out as a kid, probably because it was so low budget it had that 'this looks kinda real' vibe to it. And all the shots of the swamps that showed nothing but the occasional turtle plopping off a log were enough to get my overactive mind to think I saw something lurking in the trees.

I agree with you on that one. I actually enjoyed PA3 until the final 15-20 minutes. And that's why I still think the first one is a creepy little flick that gave me some legitimately good chills when I first saw it and didn't rely on simple jump scares.

They're gonna milk this series for all its worth. May be time to nipple it in the bud though.

My aunt got me 'Love Gun' on vinyl for Christmas in 1977. I was 5. To this day the only KISS album I've ever owned. 'Christine Sixteen' was in heavy rotation on my record player for a while, though.

I think there's something to that. The first time I saw 'Made' I didn't like it because I was expecting more 'Swingers' hijinks. Once I got past that, I watched it again and it clicked. And I think Vince Vaughn as total asshole, be it true to life or no, was hysterically painful to watch.

Given Mozzer's distaste for Robert Smith that would be interesting.

I read you can see pieces of that Kitner kid spilling out all over the dock in this edition.

I saw 'Killer Joe' last night, and I'll say the scene is incredibly disturbing and puts the film over the top. Not that it wasn't crossing the line already. Especially after the earlier scene with the, erm, de-flowering, it's pretty damn sinister. Plus what he does to Gina Gershon's face just prior to the drumstick
