I know it'll get buried, and I know I haven't commented on here in a couple years, but thank you, so much Alasdair! I watched the show live when it aired, and rewatched it many a time since, including along with your reviews. I wish you the very best of luck in your future endeavors and I want you to know how much I

Not just The Daywalker, that's Adam Carter from Spooks (MI-5 in the US)!!

While I agree with everything you wrote, just one note re: Kelly:

Seconded. The second half of the sextet *minor spoilers* jumps three and a half millennia into the future, and, while more sci-fi heavy than the politics and ecology of the first half of the series (due to the increased presence of the Ix), are still exceptionally well written. If people think that Dune is unfilmable,

Sagittarius.

Yup, and Gendry was Chris :)

See, I get where you're coming from, but I'm one of like 9 people who actually liked the series from start to finish. Obviously S1 (through S2's "Home, pt 2," which RDM and DE considered to be the true end of the first season) is basically a masterclass in television genius, and the quality lowered somewhat after that

Yeah, me too. Goes back to those first two seasons of Skins.

May I recommend to you the BSG season one finale, Kobol's Last Gleaming? Both parts, but it's the only thing I can think of comparable to tonight.

See, I had the great pleasure of growing up just outside of D.C. and hitting high school in the 90s, which was an amazing time for, what I consider to be, "emo" music. 1st tho, Fugazi was never emo. Neither is Dismemberment Plan (but they played a lot of shows with "new-emo" bands. I saw a great show at the 9:30 Club

Especially since IRL he's married to Kiele Sanchez.

While I hope you come back, I can't believe I missed your second point. How funny would it have been (in an alternate timeline, because I really like the show as it is) if Isaiah Washington walked over to Murphy and said, "Bitch, move, I have a Harper Avery award."

After a kill like that, she'd be all, "Bitch, I can fly." Maybe I've been playing too many JRPGs lately. >.>

You and me both :)

But then the show would be called "Fear Lexa," because she would've killed all the zombies, the show wouldn't need to exist, and she could come back to The 100!

Kefka's obligatory "Watch Continuum" post. Richard Harmon does truly excellent work on that show as well. He's a goddamn Canadian national treasure.

Man, we keep meeting up in threads tonight, and I keep agreeing with you :). If we get five seasons of The 100 that are the quality of the five seasons of Fringe, I will be a very happy man.

I can't believe I'm typing this, and I imagine the fan crossover is minimal, but for me, Clarke and Bellamy's relationship should take a page from Meredith and Alex's on Grey's Anatomy. They are each others' person. They share a unique bond that a romance would diminish.

Hopeful end? Everyone's emotionally devastated and the world is about to end again. ;)
