They have that episode but only the version reenacted by hillbillies, little people and the Duggars.

I watched a kneecap replacement for several hours. The part that sticks with me is the prevalence of primitive tools. drills, chisels, screwdrivers and hammers which wouldn't be out of place in the workshop.
If it weren't for Trading Spaces I may never have thought to look under the carpet when I bought my house to check for hardwood floors. Sure enough… original oak. Not the highest end stuff but nice for 67 when they built. Needs refinishing but way nicer than nasty old carpet.
And it helps consolidate her presence to itunes which no doubt pays more.
Much like Swift who can just pull her music from Spotify because she sells enough tracks on itunes to make an actual profit (and probably has the clout to negotiate a sweeter deal anyway), It is easy for Grohl to say since he is in a huge band with a huge name who can get people to pay to see them on word of mouth…
All I can assume is that this means the Tolkein family gets less (or nothing) and thus we never see a Silmarillion adaptation in any form no matter who is involved.
Tainted Love - Social Distortion (Sometimes Bad Religion sometimes Pennywise).
It is still pretty decent. It suffered from obsessive fan-itis. Much the same as people who wouldn't shut up about Fight Club tainted that movie. I think this song worked great in the movie and hits at the perfect time. Shit, the way that soundtrack is arranged in the movie is right up there with Dazed and Confused…
Really *loved* Tears for Fears. She's 27. Tears for Fears hasn't done anything anyone has cared about in like 25 years. Yeah…
I remember when they were allowed to call it the Learning Channel.
There is a real dearth of ninja-based entertainment nowadays. They were everywhere back in the early 80s.
It is probably cheaper to get some shitty band or "singer / songwriter " that is indentured to the studio (which is owned by the same conglomerate as their label) to record a cover than it is to acquire the rights to an original.
Did the Onion just leech over into AV club? Do you guys share a cafeteria?
I haven't seen it but it would be poetic if it was Rick from the original Degrassi Junior High.
Most of them. If someone on a show is a pederast, a rapist, molester, wormy little accountant bilking old ladies out of their money or just some manchild who lives at home because he is scared of the light his name is Richard.
I love it when you see these horribly hateful rants and the person's employer is listed right there in plain sight (if not their actual position) on the profile all publicly accessible. Like chlorine for the hiring pool.
If anything this might lead to another tour which would be fantastic. I saw him a year or so ago and while I went in more a well-wisher than a fan (wife loves him) I came out amazed. Don't pass up the chance to see him if you can. Easily one of the best concerts I have ever attended.
The target audience for this garbage would be screaming for subtitles.
Clerks is fairly timeless. There will always be shitty jobs serving shitty customers.
I don't think anyone is really arguing that his DotD is superior to the original. There is really no argument for that.
