Head and Five Easy Pieces are all I've seen, but I love 'em both.

I once wrote a tweet in which I (jokingly) said that calling Rick Perry a (c-word) was my "passion". Shortly afterward, I started following "Right Wing Film Geek" Victor J Morton. He blocked me and tweeted something like "just blocked someone who posted [edited version of my tweet]". I felt really shitty, both because…
I love Channel 101. Also, they weren't making fun of Cheers, E. Buzz Miller.
@avclub-43915436b2a8b248a1bc3c3490754b44:disqus . The entire article is about how compelling the scene is. Suggesting that the score is a misstep and could have been removed is nothing like suggesting the entire movie should have been an "art project".
The illustration accompanying "The Thing" messed me up pretty bad in elementary school.
Mike D'Angelo gave A SEPARATION a 95?! Pretty much a must-see now.
Adorkable? That's so cromulent!
One of my all-time favorites
For years, this has been my go-to comfort movie. Make of that what you will. My friends all gave me shit for being obsessed with the "serial killer movie", so when I hosted a movie night I chose this. Being a room full of teenagers, there was some talking/texting at the beginning, but that…
They actually have released TV series, but instead of being the asshole that points that out I'm just going to say that I badly need the entire series on DVD. Now.
I was really, really happy when I found out about how much Malick loves Zoolander.
Excellent choice. I also love the use of "Sweetness" at the end.

You're ignoring quite a few facts, John L. For one thing, Echols was not put into a mental hospital for "violent tendencies". He was forced into one because a) him and his girlfriend broke into an abandoned trailer and b) police officers assumed he was a Satanist. Secondly, only one of the three made a confession… the…
West Memphis Three
I realize that putting this in the comments section of a AVQ&A may seem odd, but I'd just like to thank Sam Adams for drawing some attention to a wonderful film. The West Memphis Three are getting closer and closer to freedom each day, but any donations you can give would still be greatly…
Word!
It's been awhile since I've seen Something Wild, so I might go with the Gallo. Buffalo '66 is excellent.
Also, this movie is great. One of the best of its decade, for sure.
Well, you have it on your coffee table. Why don't you just watch it?
Yeah, I live in Japan
And I can tell you that there are no "cancerous amounts of radiation". I was just in Tokyo last weekend. The misinformation that has spread outside of the country makes it seem like all of Japan is a radioactive wasteland. It's not even close to being the case.
