They tried Robin and Barney…it was a disaster.  And I mean that in terms of the drama/comedy produced…they bring out nothing interesting in each other.  They quite simply suck as a TV couple.

The idea of Robin and Barney winding up together is quite annoying.  They weren't an interesting couple.  It's the ultimate TV load of crap…shoehorning characters together for no particular reason other than the fact that we already know both, so it's easier than crafting new characters.
