Pete was also in the epilogue, sitting in the second row at the funeral

    for what it's worth
Everyone here should check out Blues Control's LP "Local Flavor" that came out in 09 on Siltbreeze. It's really incredible, kinda all over the map psych stuff. Nothing else out there like it.

Wait, when did he stop writing this? And when did the other AV Club writers also stop paying attention?

Chalk another one up to Rabin's drinking.

one woman's trash is another woman's garbage
Did anyone else see Avril Lavigne's acoustic cover of "Tic Toc?"

    This is IT!!
When I clicked this review all I wanted to know is if there were more Alan Watts samples because that's what I really liked about the first record.

I rescind my comment and agree totally with this one except I paid to see this in a theater so I felt compelled to watch it all at once. The sound design is pretty mindblowing and visually I can't think of a feature-length precedent for it, but boy is it a tedious, grueling mess.

    most re-watchable?
I only saw the 143 minute version but I already think of that as 2.5 hours of my life I'll never get back, I don't want to push it up over 5.

    one last ommission
    Takehisa Kosugi

Which opens up the link to Mainliner/High Rise. Kawabata's snub is especially surprising given the sheer volume of his creative output. It's a slippery slope and the reason this topic a good choice for G2G is because there really is so much quality Japanese noise, but to me LRD are the ultimate sonic terrorists.

    stick to indie
A Japanese noise post with no mention of Les Rallizes Denudes is shameful.

    top-notch propagangda

not disrespectfully hitting on them, i should add

i saw these guys the other week at an in-store
Someone asked "where's josh homme" and this guy said he was locked in a chicken wire box under his house. he then proceeded to hit on every woman in the place while warning that his mom might come in and kick his ass

    "Love Minus Zero/No Limit"
    esp. the Rolling Thunder version

should not post comments before i read the second page

    um
    That movie Z?

    my new favorite episode
This show's writing blows me away every week, but everything about the way this episode represented a visual narrative was incredible. Even the fact that that girl's name was JOY didn't bother me when put beside those shots of Sal during Curt's announcement, or that final shot of Don's lost

    no love for the country
    townes van zandt, "come tomorrow?"
