He's amazing in Black Hawk Down. He is completely nonplussed by everything and it's awesome. There's a great scene where everything is going to shit and he's just swearing silently to himself and shaking his head. He's absolutely perfect as the gruff military sergeant role.

It's pretty much an improvement by default. S3 is ridiculous and dumb, and the characters still kind of suck, but at least it's entertaining now.
