The fact that most of the comments on this review are about White House Down, not Pacific Rim, gives you some idea of how boring this thing was. Take Japanese monster movie/ anime cliches, put them in a blender, then smear the paste on a paint-by-numbers book of hollywood blockbusters, and Pacific Rim is what you get.
