Was the Evil Dead remake really met with widespread shrugs? It seemed to garner a lot of attention and praise based on what I remember.

Where's the "Get A Load Of This Guy" cam from Wayne's World when you need it?
I'm very mad at Now You See Me at wasting such a good cast on what looks like a mind-numbingly generic heist film. I was hoping it might be a little better than the trailer, but the two clips I've recently seen actually looked even worse.
Liked for bringing up Network Awesome. I love that site.
Not only did she make an album, but the frequently frustrating AllMusic.com gave it a rave review that reads as hilarious in retrospect.
Their reactions to that comments section being discovered were pretty calm and self-deprecating as I recall, so I guess they aren't too embarrassed by the whole thing.
It's a little odd, but harmless. I felt bad when it went public and people started mocking them.
I'm surprised you actually sat through that one, Craig. Although I do agree, I didn't completely hate the film either. Seeing Bill Mosely make an appearance in the first 5 minutes was much appreciated.
For years, that was the only taste of MST3K i ever had the honor of experiencing. As far as I know, we never received the television series in Canada, but the film would occasionally be run on some of our movie channels.
Whoops, and I was really trying not to put words in your mouth too. Apologies, Craig.
I have to say, I was expecting something much worse from this post before I clicked on the article. I was worried it was going to be a total attack piece on the show, but it seems like perfectly reasonable opinions to me. But then again, you never said it WASN'T reasonable. Perhaps I'm as defensive of some of the AV…
"Yes, Mr. ElDan. Everyone's a douchebag."
ElDan occasionally makes good posts, but he seems to go out of his way to make "SHOCKING" and snarky jokes about everything sometimes. The one post I read of his today was a "Lena Dunham is a man" joke.
It has gotten a bit tiring, hasn't it? It especially bothers me when 80% of the comments under a Hear This article are people who haven't bothered to listen to the song and just want to riff on the song/band name or artist photo.
I didn't realize he had done a review of this. The Nostalgia Critic is very hit-or-miss for me, but I feel obligated to watch this video now. Pinchot's performance is definitely…something.
The Langoliers just may be the worst Stephen King adaptation I have ever been subjected to. Can't even give me the satisfaction of being a fascinating trainwreck, it's just an uninteresting three-hour-long slog. I completely checked out by the halfway mark, once the best character of the film (a neurotic,…
You and me both. Too bad the comments section underneath that write-up has been less than welcoming.
You're right, it is no Billy Madison. It's better.
Both.
