Is it odd that my three favorite Scorcese films are After Hours, King Of Comedy and Bringing Out The Dead? I love his more recognized classics too, of course, but his dark comedies always have left more of an impression of me.

The Ice Harvest is one of my favorite underrated films of the last decade. So no, not with you on this one.

He's okay. He isn't particularly funny and his interviewing style kind of grates, but he's skilled at impressions and he seems like a genuinely nice enough person. I don't have much of an interest in watching his show, but I also don't see him as a figure worthy of harsh derision.

I had a similar moment regarding Sigourney Weaver recently when I read her criticisms against the Oscars for giving The Hurt Locker best picture over Avatar.

RIP Willem Dafoe.

The 'big trick' that Carrell and Buscemi pull out of their sleeves at the end of the film basically amounts to them drugging the entire audience with a specific drug alluded to earlier in the film that makes the user unconscious for a short period of time. When the audience awakes, they all find themselves transported

Just got back from Incredible Burt Wonderstone. I didn't think the trailer was QUITE as awful as everyone else did, so I went in not expecting this to be a complete mess. And it wasn't, I swear! The AV Club rating of C+ seems pretty spot-on to me. The sentimental streak felt way too rote, they went for the easy joke

That's fair enough, I've seen my share of hatred towards Fey in the past. I just can't really get on board with it at all. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have similar feelings to other sacred cows in the comedy biz (*cough*DougStanhope*cough*), so I'll lay off.

I can't even tell the genuine posts from the blatant trolling posts anymore.

That was a nice surprise, I feel like I haven't seen him appear in anything since the 90s. IMDB tells me he's been keeping busy with TV guest spots though, so good for him.

Beloved character actor Michael G. Hagerty!

Oh good, I'm not the only one here who finds them hysterical. When Great Job, Internet! shined a light on this account a few days ago, all of the comments seemed overwhelmingly negative. But that appears to be a required opinion to have when posting comments under that feature anyway….

Having a rough morning?

Fun fact: my dad used to be friends with the actor who played the lead mutant in that remake.

What a great interview that was. The prior interview with Zach Braff also ended up being a lot of fun too, with it's archival footage of bloated Craig in a pilot with Braff and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Yeah, I really like the actor in other things (Workaholics, Pitch Perfect), but he stands out as way too broad here.

One of the few jokes I enjoyed in that notoriously awful episode.

This comments section should be fun.

I've liked a few of the Owl City songs I have heard, I would just never be able to take a full album of their music at once.

Er…..thread for people who actually DID enjoy this video? Is that okay?
