I suppose when you believe to know a person—or have a conception of them—you can't really imagine what they could be capable of. I think Hank, both as a character in the series, and just as a symbol in general, illustrate that particular "set in our ways" point of view about someone.

Robutnik, here's some ways I'd do a Quatto costume: look for a "strong man" or "fat guy" kind of costume. cut a hole in the fake bare torso and stick a cheap, melted-looking doll and attatch—velcro tape?—it around the hole. Should be a cinch.
