Was it just me, or did I hear Hannah refer to Paul-Louis as a "water ski instructor?"

Just want all you jabronis to know that this is an A episode, and my vote moved the overall score from B+ to A-.
Don't forget Juan Carlos, the playboy soccer player that everyone hated because he sucked.
They had to do a lot of shots of Padma from the neck up in this episode, then John made a "nip it" joke. Coincidence? I think not.
Civil Warland in Bad Decline is a great place to go to after 10th of December. It's more of the same. By same, I mean truly excellent and thought provoking short stories.
He really is one of the best modern American writers out there. Just a fantastic satirist and storyteller.
Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before (No Really, You Have)
I heard "Underground" on a college radio station, and decided I needed to go to that college and become a DJ at that radio station.
I miss the old Okkervil. The one that didn't make me sleepy.
Agree completely; Reflektor could've been a pretty killer single disc album. Reflektor, Joan of Arc, Afterlife, and It's Never Over are among the strongest songs in their catalogue.

Season 2 was a Brinks truck full of nonsense and horseshit.
She's given more depth in Season 3.
Pretty sure it was Nightmares, although "Lies" is the one song from this album that made it onto their hits compilation.
It's a great f'n album. I had taken a soft pass on that band b/c of the twee cultural appropriation, and never being a huge Graceland fan so not really requiring the 2000s remake. Modern Vampires is a total reset on their sound and themes.
"Add It Up" was a nice intro best-of album because it didn't just plunder all the best stuff from the Femmes' studio albums. It had a few of the original versions of the hits, then some blistering live versions of the other hits and a cornucopia of b-sides and outtakes. I bought Add It Up first, then still found it…
