First off, Sonia, I adore your interpretation of who Carrie is and the Carrie-Brody relationship. Great review.

I love this show, in the way, I imagine, other sorts of people love the demolition derby.
Duncan only wanted to make it look like he was willing to kill Hoffman to the teacher from the Wire. But he didn't want to *actually* kill him, so he had Sandrine and Kramer orchestrate the stolen phone/truck thing to prevent the murder from actually taking place.
Now what I really want is something involving Bryan Cranston and Olivia Colman together. Actually, it's not a want. It's a need.

Watching Tucker try to dance hip-hop was painful. All that was missing was the overbite. Meanwhile, Jasmine's solo and general existence was so impressive I do NOT understand how she could be in the bottom 3, nor why the judges were not more outraged at her presence there.
LOL I love that you describe "the interchangeable brunettes." Every year there are 3 or 4 pretty girls who I cannot tell apart. I think I've finally figured out which is Hayley and which is Makenzie but I'm not 100% sure.
The whole episode was really good, but goddamn those last few minutes. It was intense all hour, but from the moment they let him see his son through the window I stopped breathing.
For me that end scene and Bullet's picture on the board was so affecting because it listed her full name "Rachel Olmstead" which just really drove home the point that now Bullet is gone and Rachel is just another victim on the bulletin board.
And John Malkovich reprises his most famous roleā¦as John Malkovich.
I find it wonderful
Idk man, I think Lost S3 gets a bad rap. Some of my favorite episodes came from that season. (One of Us, for instance.)
Have you already seen some of Scandal? People seem to love it or hate it. I love it. A lot. It is BANANAS but incredibly entertaining. I think POI's best episodes (the arc from 2x10 to 2x13, for instance) are better than Scandal but it can be hit or miss imo. Suits is fine, but I like it a lot less than the other two.
I'd add Hunting Party, but otherwise, beautiful tropical fish of a list.
She and her character are the best part of the show in my opinion. It is worth watching though. It is much better written than most things on CBS. The mythology is well developed so it's a good balance of procedural and long arc(s).
In my opinion PT Anderson, Affleck and Bigelow were the top 3 directors of the year. The fact that ALL of them were snubbed is absurd.
They already have at least two shows that get people talking. They are called Community and Parks and Recreation. Ugh, pretty sure NBC is headquartered in Eagleton.
I also noticed that when Mira asks about Carrie, he doesn't say she was killed in the blast, he tells her she is "Gone." which is beautifully ambiguous.

I think Carrie will reach out to Dana because it follows her general motto: "It's wildly inappropriate but it's the right thing to do!"
