A bunch of monkeys are running the NBC scheduling department.

I actually read the book and found it really funny. It was dark at times, but it definitely had a lot of heart - you could tell that Halpern's dad was a straight-talking, no bullshit man who, deep down inside, just loved his family a great deal.
I was surprised I enjoyed it so much after seeing how shitty the sitcom

Was about to point that out. Tony Hale said before it was his favorite scene to shoot in AD.
Did anyone else notice Gary trying to kiss/ grope Selina towards the end of the episode when they announced that Selina was running after all?
The expression on Gary's face was priceless when he realized Selina was gonna kiss

Can we just talk about how great that smug look Gary threw Selina was at the end tag?
That is easily the top 3 moments of the episode. Tony Hale is so criminally underrated. HE deserves an Emmy too!
