Blood and Chocolate is my go-to angry Costello album. Even "Blue Chair" gets the blood pumping.

"Head to Wall" is one of the best impotent/angry songs out there.
Poison Idea's original of that is tops as well. Actually their whole "Feel the Darkness" album is exceptional rage music.
I dunno, most of it winds up as music I'm angry at, especially the butchering of "Credit in the Straight World."
I think "March on, Electric Children" might be better for anger purposes, but "Piano Island" is better overall so it's a toss up.
The correct answer is that it's all about that bass solo.
Trust me, there are plenty of worse things we could have exported. For instance: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
"Oh Ponce, you are a regular character!"
Proposition the hydrofoil!
The Sweet Hereafter is my go to case for how do make a good adaptation. It's faithful to just the right degree but with enough of an identity of its own to stand apart from the book. The commentary on the DVD is essentially a conversation between Egoyan and Russell Banks about the ways that the movie could do things…
It's use in Exotica is even better. But that could have something to do with it being the accompaniment to a multitude of stripteases.
I have one fond memory of "Mambo No. 5": It was the first song they played on the radio station I was forced to listen to at work after 2 months of non-stop Christmas carols.
The first half - hell we'll even say three-quarters - of season 4 is actually my favorite run of the series, so agree to disagree there. I mean, you've got Escape Velocity, which is probably the best episode the series ever did in my opinion, and a lot of the issues from the first three seasons being transposed onto…
I'll defend the shit out of season 4 as its best season. It has a few bum episodes and the finale is…problematic shall we say, but on the whole there are so many great episodes in there, especially in the first half, that I can't abide by the general consensus that it's just the worst.
Acme only really gets going in its second half though, which is why Orange wins out for me. Now I Got Worry is also pretty easily digestible.
First Four Years is essential, but my favorite Flag album has always been Slip It In. It's not as consistent as some others but the good songs on there are really, really good which more than makes up for it in my book.
Cease all activity! My timepiece indicates a necessity for mallets!
As much as I hate "Wonderful Christmastime" - and I hate the ever loving fuck out of it in a way I'd usually reserve for Nickelback - there is one Christmas song that gets my goat even more, probably due to the fact that I get to hear it at least twice a day at work during our Xmas rush while Macca isn't in the…
Plus Aang vs Jet over the tree city, probably the first indication of just how great the fights could and did get.
The thing that gets me - every god damned time - is that it's obvious how they're gonna make you cry like a little bitch from the first lines of the vignette. They set it all up so transparently that it shouldn't work at all, just like every other self-conscious tear-jerker never works (for me at least.) And yet the…
