This episode renews my hope that this show will be good.  However, the writers missed a great opportunity to have Rick teach Carl a lesson by making him return the gun to Darrel.  Part of being human, and maintaining "humanity," is to not steal and to own up to your mistakes.  Rick basically tells him to "man up" but…

I think this is a good show overall - not great, but good.  The only problems I have with it so far: (1) Nick hasn't really demonstrated any "Grimm" awesomeness that seems to instill fear or terror in the monsters, he's only demonstrated the ability to "see" them, and (2) Julia is about as exciting as a wet noodle…
