It is interesting that this show's regular timeslot will be Fridays at 9 right before Blue Bloods which is also about a NYCPC and his family including a former NYCPC…  This show will only get a week or so in its regular slot before the NCAA tournament knocks it out for a couple of weeks..

It's not really too late for a backdoor pilot at all…  NCIS, the #1 drama today even after 10 years, started as a backdoor pilot on JAG that was shown in 2 parts in April of 2003..  The backdoor pilot only had Gibbs, Ducky, and Tony…  I saw David McCallum that summer and expressed to him how much I enjoyed the show as…

What I got a bit of a chuckle about last night was my wife and I were on our honeymoon in March 1981 on a cruise ship enjoying the afternoon in our cabin because of bad weather…hm hm… We heard about the shooting on the ship radio in the cabin in a similar way as our couple…   No TV feeds on ships in those days…

There are plenty of shows that shoot in NYC…  Blue Bloods for one… lots of recognizable NYC scenery..  TGW has to hide its NYC locations,,  Same with The Following so Bacon can live at home…  USA Network has a number of its shows that shoot in and around NYC( Suits, White Collar, Royal Pains, Necessary Roughness)… 

The Good Wife has a decent sized audience except it's full of smart older people that advertisers don't want…   They think they want the dumb young people who can be influenced by advertising… Thus the so-called "demo" is bad…

Columbia Law School is not so bad is it???  Or Fordham???    They aren't Harvard but so what???  That way Rachel could stay in NY  and be part of the show…

Nor ON Demand…    I always DVR this show because of those limitations…   I still don't get why most shows are available and some not…. makes very lilttle sense

Sterling K Brown had to get back to Charleston, SC to resume his role in Army Wives which probably started shooting…. So his role as Carter's BF may be on hold a while..

It does make me wonder how this show is not on regular FOX???   To me it's a higher quality than almost any other drama on that network…  Having this on Mondays at 9 would be better than what's offered..  

In 1981, I got lots of questions and jokes about my name…  not so much anymore….    This is my favorite new show..   I am really enjoying it… It's too bad its first run is up against some heavy traffic Wednesdays at 10…. Thankfully, my DVR can roll at 11:05…    Same thing with Justified on Tuesdays…

Ummm  many people have the opposite view that the hard core Reagan KO'd the Soviets and made the world safer.. yeh…. Drew doesn't strike my as UCAL Berkley material..  As an in-state student, I would figure it would be nearly impossible to get in with anything less than straight A's…  As pointed out above, his GPA can't be that great…   I know in many states, getting into big time state schools is pretty tough..  Those schools…

for all of  you haters of this show, Season 2 was pretty good and moved along…  Still not sure I liked who the killer was…  sort of reminded me of this week's H50 where the audience picked the killer…  came out of nowhere..
