The best part was that they combined L.Ron Hubbard with the DC Comics robots L-Ron which was named for him (there were a bunch of other robots named after science fiction writers).

That version of Paul Dini dressed as Harley Quinn also appeared in an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, "The Legend of the Dark Mite", also written by Dini. That episode also had Bruce Timm in Joker makeup.

I rewatched the scene in "Alienated" when M'gann mind-crushed a Krolotean prisoner in full view of Batman and Martian Manhunter, where only Connor was bothered by the catatonic aftermath.

Season 1 gets better. I'll concede it was a bit of a slow starter with the usual villain of the week stuff, but characters develop, relationships build, and continuity usually pays off. The Season 2 jump is a lot more exciting in light of Season 1.

This certainly had the tone of a pre-hiatus episode, and next week is a rerun, but do you have a particular source for this?

Like that Twilight Zone episode "It's A Good Life". If any of the Leaguers step out of line, they get sent to the corn field.
So I guess Superboy is the only one who has an ethical problem with Miss Martian mind-frakking enemies? Either the drooling after-effects of her "interrogation" are temporary or Martian Manhunter and Batman really don't have a problem with it, which seems unlikely.
I liked it too. But if that's just his base state, should he be green? Miss Martian is actually a white martian, though she was green when she gave Gar the blood transfusion.
I'm fourthing.
