I'll admit, I LOL'd.

It's for iPad too, chumps.
I didn't like this. I LOVED it. Solid parody of a TV thing.
[Calmer now]
My rant above was in no way intended to be a criticism of anyone's taste for electronic stuff, just my own frustration at not hearing (more of) what I like on a station that I actually pay for.
No sir, I don't like it. There's entirely too much of this neo-electronic crap passing as indie rock these days, and XMU is chock full of it. Their top 41 is rife with the shit: CHVRCHES, DIIV, Django Django, Neon Indian, Wild Nothing, Yeasayer, Purity Ring, Sleigh Bells, Grimes…Christ on a bike this list goes on…
Totally agree, and I was about to comment the exact same thing! It was truly a Ferris Bueller-esque moment, what with Axl making the hall pass score, getting the report through the window, and the poster slid under the door, all at the exact moment needed. Whole episode was really great, but that was the best part…
Yes, you misunderstood. That was one of the funniest lines of the episode. I think it was "Hurricane Sue comes in, blowing dork and raining nerd all over the place". We laughed like sailors at that one.
I liked that show the first time it was on…when it was called Day Break.
Stone is brewed in my town and though I'd like to support a local product, I just can't get with their extraordinarily bitter offerings. Especially when they tell me that I'm not worthy. Apparently my money is not worthy to them either. Though I admit their restaurant is pretty awesome.
Thanks for that, the comments were priceless.
Yes, I had a few of those as well, and specifically remember Revenge of the Rainbow Dragons being particularly exciting.
RL Stine wrote several Twist a Plot books (similar to CYOA) before he started on the Goosebumps series.
Yeah the Which Way books were far more graphic and occult-oriented than the CYOA books. I had at least a dozen.
House of Danger, but that may just be because it was my first. Years ago I gave my whole collection to my wife's school, where they were promptly devoured/destroyed by hordes of 3rd and 4th grade boys.
Burl kills it, again.
Good choice, Zieg. That one scared the living shit outta me and I was reading stuff like Dean Koontz and Stephen King at the time. A few of the other Which Way books are also pretty scary, which is why I gravitated toward them. CYOA were generally tamer fare, though I distinctly remember The Horror of High Ridge…
Morrissey would beg to differ. Sir Paul too.

I sure goddamn hope so, PG. 2012 was a shitty year for the country, the world, and my family. Good fucking riddance.
