Having watched Season 3 rather recently - in preparation for this season I noticed that while to some extent at times some of the characters acted more cartoonish, overall the story and other characters hit well enough that I could overlook it. For instance the Celebrity Impersonation Episode referenced

I am disappointed about the not seeing who like what - that lead to some interesting discussion a couple weeks ago - and I don't know how I feel about dislikes…

Woah! Disqus changes its layout - and its notifications now show the entire thread when people reply. I will without full judgement until further notice but for now I approve of the changes.

I know, I mean really how do the proletariat suffice with such meager offerings as Bud Light. I puzzle over these quandaries as I sip my 8 dollar beer from atop my Ivory Tower. (which itself costs a bundle I mean do you know what the cost of ivory is like on the black market these days?)

I was already in trouble with spending too much on beer - I rarely buy anything cheap and I am a huge sucker for seasonals and limited editions, not to mention I tend to want try the most obscure beers that I can. I also spend money on wine, though I am not as much of snob as I am with beer - though it is getting

I am going to use this as an excuse to brag about the brunch I had this weekend. Its at this great place in Austin called Olivia's. They have their own vegetable garden and chicken coop for fresh eggs. Which leads to my brunch:
Fried Oyster Benedict - Homemade Buns with Poached Eggs covered in a Peppercorn Champagne

The only SXSW I'll be doing is the AV Club's free show because of Frightened Rabbit and Baths so see you there?

See I can't wear Target because I am too skinny - all of their men's clothes are way too wide for me so regardless of the quality of H&M (which I found to be fine I have quite a few article of clothing that have held up well over the years) so I actually love H&M because it is cheap and fits me super well so I can

Agreed, I had been wanting to try it for a while and for some reason kept putting it off but I am so glad that I finally did - it is one of my go to stouts now.

This is what I have been waiting for:
I had my first sour beer last night - it was Rogue Ale but I don't remember the name but it was super good. I love sour snacks and so this was right up my alley. However this wasn't my best beer of the night I had Dogfish Head's Birra Etrusca which was beyond phenomenal.

From my small select Iphone library:
The Thermals - I Hold The Sound
Elliott Smith - Don't Go Down
Elliott Smith - Looking Over My Shoulder
The National - All The Wine

I listened to the Drive soundtrack this morning and now have a huge urge to watch it tonight which I probably will do. Also this might get me heckled off the boards and definitely heckled by @avclub-eaff9f19dbfd5c5a5807b5dbfa656ec9:disqus but I have been consuming Macklemore's The Heist. I will freely admit I started

Almost done with The Corrections and am using up all my willpower not to bust it out in the middle of my work day now and finish it. But that is what my night is going to entail - in my former spare bedroom current study as of this weekend. Super pumped about it.

TV on the Radio - 9 Types of Light is my go to running music.

Is that a J.Crew shirt?

I couldn't help myself, I laughed.

Watching all of these great fully felt emotional moments after Community just through the former into more stark relief to how its emotional beats have been unearned this season.

It just felt so contrived, I felt like none of the stories, jokes, or emotional moments landed. Yes the part at the end where Abed knows that Troy will find him was sweet but that is because we have a history of knowing Troy and Abed, that payoff wasn't earned in this episode and so the end doesn't justify the means.

I feel like this is a Simpson's quote, most likely something Homer says to Lisa. To the internets!
