I totally forgot about the National, such a good one-two. I said this earlier but I would say Long Drive has a 1-2-3 with Custom Concern, a song that rivals the best on that album.

Long Drive has a great 1-2 in Dramamine into Breakthrough and then followed by Custom Concern for a 3 makes it legendary. Though I will admit 1 & 3 completely carry 2.

I usually try to avoid the 6th street area bars because they are so packed all the time or if they are empty seem really depressing because they maintain the frenetic atmosphere despite the lull. But I will look into the Jackalope.

if you are ever in Austin check out the Draught House or Hopfields, both really excellent selections and decor. Also Easy Tiger is a bit of coffeehouse/pub/bakery but has an amazing selection and enviroment along with great food/coffe/baked goods.
