I didn't realize that Friends' schools had mandatory meeting the same way that Episcopalian and Catholic schools often have school-wide mass. It makes me wonder now many hawkish DC elites send their children to a school run by a historical Peace Church.

@Scrawler2:disqus , as a lawyer I sometimes get in this eye-rolling, head-shaking zone whenever I watch any show about trials or litigation, so I have developed a coping mechanism that allows me to not be a burden to my fellows.  I mentally jot down notes about all the stuff that bothers me.  And at the top of those

I love that he didn't throw Dana under the bus when Jessica was going all ballistic on her.  Logically, this shouldn't overshadow the fact that he's a terrorist who at this point has killed Tom Walker twice, sort of, but emotionally it feels like it does.

You don't have to be a U.S. citizen to get a driver's license.  Legal permanent residents, people on work visas, children of diplomats can all get state licenses but cannot vote.  The only photo ID that I know of that constitutes valid proof of U.S. citizenship is a passport. So if someone has already fraudulently

For the past few weeks I've really enjoyed reading the comments here before actually watching the episode, so that I can say to myself, "There is no way that fucking happened," and then in it happens, and in that moment I feel transported to an Alice-in-Wonderland-type topsy turvy world of absurdist magic.
