Community has been thoroughly mediocre this year too. Sure comeback compared to season 4, but even then not as big as one would expect with Dan Harmon back in the mix.

Has anyone actually complained though? If there's one thing it seems everyone has been in unanimous agreement about, it's that not unlike Ted is soon to do, they completely nailed the mother this year.

Robyn, eh?

I go for the him-y-m, so yours minus the add-on. it just feels right that way with the three syllables…him-yim or whatever feels foreign.

He also became a living cartoon, which certainly didn't help matters.

It did emotion very well, but I've been rewatching the first season which is largely before they got overly emotional, and it's still one of the very best seasons. It just had this laid back delivery to it and it had the realistic vibe of friends just hanging around and laughing at each others jokes, Not to mention,

I honestly think this season has been superior to last season by quite a bit so far. Sure "Kung Pao Turkey" was a dud (but also last seasons "Baby Franny" was arguably worse), and there have been a couple average episodes, but there's also been like 7-8 episodes that are easily some of the best stuff this show has put

I for one am glad Bullock and Stan didn't have sex, to be honest. That kind of would have turned me off to the episode. In fact my only real fault with the episode was the Bullock himself was a little too creepy/ Quagmire-esque. I preferred him in episodes like "Four Little Words" where he was so off his game he

Yeah, not that I'm asking for an AD fanboy to review the show or anything but it can be frustrating to see certain shows like Community, Girls, Bob's Burgers, etc, get reviewed by people who would classify those shows as pretty much their favorites, and even mediocre episodes are getting B+'s. I feel like Kevin likes

I dunno, I can think of about 2-3 below average episodes in the whole run of seasons 2-6. Pretty darn consistent if you ask me. It's been a little less consistent recently though, for sure. Still the hits are far outweighing the misses.

Eh, hardly. Kevin has been lowballing the heck out of these last few episodes for whatever reason. B, B+, B is a more accurate summation of the three episodes since the return. I mean he gave "Naughty Stewardesses" the same grade as this, while he praised the B-plot of that episode. Now that's all and good but the

Yep, the scene where Roger casually walks to the kitchen to get a drink and walks back while Stan and Francine are having the "your fathers a woman now" conversation with Steve was for my money one of the funniest sequences of the season.

Well, I know he had a screener for the season premiere, which is why it was up so early. And my guess is he might have had one for "Holodeck" as well, because it was up pretty much immediately after.

Mapple?

Yeah the HD-era is almost unforgivably bland.

Why is that Family Guy, which airs an hour after American Dad these days, has it's reviews up like half an hour after the show ends, yet for American Dad we always seems to have to wait until the wee hours of the morning. Even on west coast time it aired over three hours ago, so that's really no excuse either.

There were similarities for sure, but they surprised me by at least having it feel different enough. But now that you mention it, the subplot was a rehash as well. I forget the episode but I know there was one where Peter went to stand-up to Chris's bully and ends up becoming a bully himself, and Chris, like Stewie in

Yeah, another mostly unfunny outing for the Guy, unfortunately. Although there were a few good jokes which is pretty much all one can ask for these days. I'd say about a C+. I did get a good chuckle out of Lois just wanting Vicodin from Dr. Hartman. And this exchange was funny;

I actually agree here. I was expecting it to be a much bigger rehash than it was based on the plot-depiction, but it managed to be mostly different from the season 3 classic "Mr. Griffin Goes To Washington". Now granted it sucked compared to that one, but at least that wasn't because it was a total carbon copy.

That's not even remotely true. American Dad, like pretty much all animated shows, doesn't focus much on continuity, and will ignore minor details of previous episodes for a plot or a joke. However, they're also one of the only animated shows to have ongoing storylines. We've basically followed Hayleys arc for 4
