I'd say it's on-par with about half of season three. Nowhere near the great episodes of that season, but superior to stuff like "Advanced Gay" and "Digitial Estate Planning". Overall it's still clearly the worst Harmon season by a small margin. At least when season 3 was weak it had some memorable jokes to fall back

This season feels more Community-ish than last season, but it's just not really a funny show anymore. The writers are sticking too many random wtf one-liners and the plots just aren't as exciting. The absence of Troy and Pierce has also not helped matters at all.

Ugh, Cork-Based Networking was honestly one of the worst Dan Harmon ran Community episodes I've ever seen. It put me off to the whole season and as a result Community is just not appointment viewing for me anymore.

I think all of the characters still feel a bit off from their seasons 1-3 counterparts. Harmon has righted the ship a little but things still haven't been the same, and that's why I still consider this season to be post-classic Community.

I live out here and let's just say there's just about every type of girl imaginable, and many of them are unfairly pretty. Seriously, just being out a club or bar (the rare times I do go) I always end up leaving alone thinking, WHERE IS THE FAIRNESS HERE, GOD!

I think they will…it will be like their flagship comedy and should pull in some decent ratings. I mean, Cougar Town managed to get an extra 2 (or maybe even 3?) seasons on TBS, so it's very feasible that the same will happen to AD.

Seriously it's been almost two months since the last new AD. I mean, what the fuck, FOX? Such bullshit. Last season on the network and they can't even treat it with a little respect. At least were getting another episode next week and the week after, and hopefully more the following weeks without any lame ass breaks.

I'm shocked American Dad got mentioned in the "also noted" section, because AD is usually the head honcho of the AV Clubs "Fuck That Show" stance.

KYO-KAIN!

Umm…what about your comment could be misconstrued as remotely sexual to warrant a "phrasing"?

It was a pretty good episode, and definitely my favorite among the last three. Ted sleuthing is always a lot of fun and this episode was no exception. Still though as you said the B-story wasn't great (and had some sketchy characterization, trying to make Barney and Robins dad suddenly the same person) and Marshall

Yeah, everyone knows the grading has been ridiculously overblown for this season. Even the very best episodes hardly compare to the great episodes of the earlier seasons. I think Donna is just very emotionally attached to the show and, considering we're so close to the end, any merely "good" episode is getting full

I'd have to disagree. This was a good episode, a solid B+, but certainly not among the highs of the series. And while last week was decent, it was also B-range, and the episode before that, "Rally", (which inexplicably got an A) was one of the worst of the season. Just unbelievably broad and cartoonish.

Umm, what? This site has always been very critical of the show.

Everything in the HD-era is pretty unwatchable to me. Yes, that includes this season as well.

I'd not watch any remotely good TV comedies for the rest of the year if you don't wanna end up eating your laptop.

Oh shit, so this is the episode written by Jordan Blum/Parker Daey, two more guys who write for American Dad (and actually got their start on it, first as assistants to the creators/showrunners). The three episodes they've penned for that show have all been fantastic, so needless to say I've been anticipating their

EVERYONE OUT OF THE CHUNNEL!

He did recommend it…unless you mean you can't believe he didn't NOT recommend it.

That's a great scene, although the motion-sensor/aliens-in-the-ceiling scene tops it, imo. Seeing that horde coming through the ceiling at breakneck speed is perhaps the most terrifying image of the film (next to alien in the water behind Newt). Then again, every action scene in that movie is masterful.
