The first time Shawn cocooned was amusing, but the 2nd time made me laugh out loud.

Yeah, I also try to suspend my disbelief completely and not think too much about big picture clues (like a Moffat season on Doctor Who) and I did NOT see that twist coming. And as everyone has mentioned, Michael's smile was a killer!
Can we all go and hide out in the Highlands?
My heart has been fluttering (?) the past few days - I just realized it's probably anxiety.
I'm glad John is gone - he creeped me out and I cannot explain why. Also, why in the heck was DD3 a $2000 clue? Even I can subtract 3 from 12!
I also owned Venus and Mars - I think it may have been the first album I bought with my own money. I still like it.
Can't wait.
I didn't make it past the first 2 episodes of Continuum (but I'm thinking of trying it again) and I watched all of Travelers.
I thought Travelers was good and that McCormack did a good job. But of course, not everyone thinks the way I do (which is probably a good thing).
I read The Next Pandemic by Ali Khan. It talks about a lot of different contagious diseases and how they played out. He used to work for the CDC but I think he said he's at a university now. I found it very interesting.
I definitely got the impression she had no sense of humor as well.
I love this show. I like that he often mixes British and American guests, and that they (mostly) are all there together. I saw that episode with John Cleese and Taylor Swift and she did not come across as the smartest banana in the bunch, that's for sure.
I was working in a library when that book came out and I swear we had like a couple of hundred holds on it.
I'm not crazy about this series so far (finished ep 4). I think they are straying way too far from the books (esp. Reptile Room) and I just don't care for the casting. I also don't really like the modern references they've inserted - I feel like it would be better to not try to pin the series to any particular time…
Oh, I missed that part.
Okay, in the clue about movie characters, the one about Sean Connery's character not making it out alive, I said his character from The Man Who Would Be King. (Not that I came up with the actual character name.) Wouldn't that also be correct?
The mall theater here is an IMAX theater so we get to have 3 different showings. Of course, it does mean that I can walk right into any of the 2D shows cause everyone wants to see them in IMAX or 3D.
My dad had me read On The Beach when I was a teenager. He was a big Nevil Shute fan, but I think On The Beach is the only Shute I really ever enjoyed (if that's the word for it and I don't think it is).
I was completely put off by that 1st episode - it nauseated me and I've seen only one other episode (San Junipero).
I guess I don't get why they are making so many changes from the books. I'm on episode 4, and they have completely changed the story of the Reptile Room. I'm not loving the series so far. And the baby is a terrible actor!
