It's been storming here almost every evening for what feels like a month and I just live in fear of hail. My old car got hailed on and I couldn't afford to get it fixed, but my new car is so pretty! I didn't even think to be afraid of exploding windshields.

The books are really quite good. But I don't think I could watch a film - I'm afraid it might be too frightening. (I can't watch anything scary.)

I think I need to go back and revisit this - I think I stalled out somewhere in season 2. But Joshua Jackson looks so much like my brother I actually had a hard time watching this show. (Not that there's anything wrong with my brother - I just kept being pulled out of the story.)

I never really found rude people in Boston, but then I had a flat tire on the highway. When I lived in Texas, I would barely get out of my car and open the trunk and there would be people stopping. But in Boston - nothing. No one stopped. The weather was bad, though. I had to wait about an hour and a half for roadside…

I personally tend to get incensed about rutabagas - trying to cut one up is an exercise in futility!

Nothing exciting this week. I canceled my Kindle Unlimited for a while so I haven't been able to finish off the Campion books. I have a couple of travel books I just checked out from the library, so I'll read those next.

As I'm reading your comment, I am watching episode 1 of Season 8. And, sorry, I like the last two seasons, mainly because I just love Vala and Daniel.

I'm pretty sure most 2-year-olds would scream their heads off at fireworks. I've seen it happen.
